I signed up for Social Fitness and it exceeded my expectations. The sessions included a variety of activities like Stand up paddle, yoga, hikes and outdoor workouts. I thought it was super cool to actually workout on SUP boards. Praise is extremely good at explaining the techniques to get you up and paddling with ease. As for the workouts in the park, they were great! We always had a group so there were fun teamwork exercises and some that boasted a little competition. Really an amazing blend of activity. If you’re looking for a different way to exercise and have fun this is easily the best option.

In the colder months, we offer a variety of Indoor Fitness Classes & Yoga to keep you active, fit and ready for summer. This year, we teamed up with the DCS Fitness & Martial Arts Studio located in the fun and funky neighbourhood of Chinatown to bring you world class cardio kickboxing and ladies only kickboxing in addition to our favourite fitness classes on offer.
Not only are we passionate about fitness and adventure, we also proudly provide holistic, culinary and sports nutrition services, such as coaching, education, meal plans, cooking classes, health talks and more.

About The Founder
Other than her strong appreciation for nature and the outdoors, Praise is also super passionate about healthy eating and nutrition that is not only good for our bodies and tastebuds, but also the earth. As a Holistic Nutritionist with a flair for the culinary arts and a special interest in the area of sports nutrition, Praise brings her passion and experience to her clients who want to eat for both athletic performance and enjoyment.
Aside from specializing in Sports Nutrition, Praise is also a certified multi-sport coach with the NCCP, with over 10 years experience coaching and training competitive athletes. She is a BCRPA certified Personal trainer, kettlebell instructor, group fitness instructor and SUP safety and fitness instructor.
Prior to founding informed fitness, Praise was the head coach of competitive swim team, the strength & conditioning coach for a youth gymnastics team, a triathlon training coach, and a first aid and lifesaving instructor for the Canadian Red Cross and The Lifesaving Society.
